- Lane 4 was closed on the M25 clockwise between junctions J16 and J17, between Rickmansworth and the M40.
- There were delays of around an hour for motorists, against expected traffic.
- The delays cleared by 7.30pm.
- Recovery were at the scene, according to National Highways.
