A women's clothes retailer is set to move in to the former Moss Bros unit in Watford.

Workers were seen installing shelves and moving stock into the High Street store on Friday, February 9.

They claimed not to know the name of the retailer, but told the Watford Observer it could be open as early as this week.

Watford BID, which oversees businesses in the high street, has been contacted for confirmation on which business is moving in. Update to follow.

The ground floor and windows now feature racks of unbranded skirts, dresses, blouses and jeans in various colours.

The 3,342 square foot unit was listed on Rightmove for £7,917 per month after Moss Bros, now renamed Moss, moved to its new location in atria Watford’s upper mall in March.

It was advertised by commercial property specialists Brasier Freeth, which described it as a "prime High Street location”.

It comprises basement, ground and first floor levels, as well as a residential flat on the second floor which can be made available "by separate negotiation".
