Lidl has renewed its interest in three Watford areas after planning permission was approved for a branch near the town.
The bargain chain has today (April 30) published a list of hundreds of locations it is eyeing for future stores as it celebrates 30 years since first opening in the UK.
The north, west and Garston areas of Watford feature in the list, as well as Croxley Green, Rickmansworth and Abbots Langley in the surrounding areas.

South Oxhey already has a branch, which opened in 2022, and another store is set to open on the World of Water site in Hunton Bridge after planning permission was granted on March 14.
The chain says it is looking for sites between 1.5 and 4 acres in prominent locations with strong footfall and traffic flow. It will pay a 1.5 per cent finder's fee on the purchase price of supermarket land.
The potential earmarked locations have not changed since last year’s list and Lidl declined to comment on individual cases.
