Funnyman Keith Lemon met fans and signed copies of his new book in Watford this morning.
The comedian, real name Leigh Francis, is no stranger to the town having filmed ‘Lemonaid’ here in February where he handed out awards to fans including "Best Cuddle in Watford".
Around 100 fans queued up in Tesco Extra to meet the Bo’ Selecta! and Celebrity Juice star, who said he has never been able to get used to fame despite releasing a movie earlier this year.
He said: "I like doing signings like this because it is an ego massage when you come out and everyone cheers.
"I’m not used to this yet, I don’t think I’ll ever get used to this.
"Only today someone abused me on Twitter and said you’re a d*** and I thought ‘yeah, but I get paid to be a d***, what’s your excuse?’."
Lemon was at the store to promote his third book ‘Being Keith’ and insists he has never used a ghost writer on any of them.
Having arrived with a bandage covering what he claims to be a rude tattoo on his right hand, Lemon revealed he had lost his voice following a late night drinking session with former Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles.
