Pupils cut the ribbon to unveil a Carpenders Park school’s new early years foundation stage unit last week.
Staff, parents, pupils and governors gathered at St Meryl School, in The Mead, last Tuesday to celebrate the opening of the new facility.
The new unit will mean the school’s nursery and reception classes have a purpose-built facility in which to learn together in.
The ribbon was cut by the school’s oldest Year 6 pupil, Georgia Brass and the youngest nursery pupil, Jacob Turner.
