The annual winter wonderland Watford4Watford family funday will be held at Watford Colosseum on Saturday.

Herts Inclusive Theatre and Watford Mencap has invited people to join them for a mince pie and whole a host of winter treats as the countdown to Christmas begins.

This year there will be special performances from The Dan Tien Performing Arts School and Electric Umbrella.

Herts Inclusive Theatre will also be showcasing a medley of musical favourites, while arts and crafts activities, story-telling, face painting and a selection of gifts will be on sale throughout the day.

For those looking to get into the Christmas spirit, there will be traditional yuletide treats on sale including festive cupcakes and traditional mulled wine.

And the family event will this year be inviting children to come and experience a specially decorated Winter Room inspired by the Disney film Frozen.

Herts Inclusive Theatre’s assistant producer Cary Young said: "We are delighted to be once again retuning to this special Watford venue for our annual family fun day.

"Year on year our event has grown and his year is set to be the biggest yet."

Tickets for the event can be purchased on the door and costs £2 per adult, while children under 15 can go free.

All money raised will be split evenly between the two charities and will help to fund a range of upcoming projects for the local community.
