A workman was taken to hospital after he dug through a power cable in South Oxhey yesterday afternoon.
Hertfordshire Constabulary and the East of England Ambulance Service were called to Prestwick Road after a man in his 40s dug through a power cable at 2.40pm.
The man was taken to Watford General Hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
