Borders vacated its site at Waterfields Retail Park six years ago.
THIRTY new jobs will be created when Smyths Toys Superstores opens its new store at Waterfields Retail Park, Watford, in May.
Smyths will take over the former Borders unit, beside Argos, which has been vacant for six years, with a trading area of approximately 15,000 square feet.
Rob Guckian, Spokesman for Smyths Toys Superstores, said: “We are delighted to announce the opening of a new store in Watford.”
Smyths Toys Superstores currently trade from almost 80 stores throughout the UK and Ireland and expect to open up to 10 new stores in the next 12 months.
