Watford international wheelchair table tennis sensation Jack Pegram has been appointed an ambassador for The Mobility Roadshow.

Jack, 23, who was also an Olympic torchbearer for the 2012 London games, will help visitors test-drive specialist wheelchair accessible cars around Donington Park race circuit in Derby during the show.

Jack, who recently graduated from Brunel University with a 2:1 in Sport and Exercise Science, said: "I love all sports and play wheelchair table tennis in my local league through to international level. I’m a member of the charity Sportability and through this organisation have had so many varied experiences including gliding, quad biking and motor sports.

"Being involved with these activities has given me a greater understanding of disability sport and both its challenges and highlights. Going to the London Olympics and Paralympics was brilliant, I felt so honoured when carrying the Olympic flame."

Jack added: "The Mobility Roadshow is a fantastic event. I’ve been going since I was in primary school and there is so much to see and do, with so many new products to try."

The free event, from Thursday, June 25, to Saturday, June 27, will showcase a range of mobility products and has been organised by chairty Mobility Voice.
