A dementia awareness event will be held in Chorleywood this week.
Villagers are being invited to Chorleywood Library, Lower Road, for the pre-launch of "Dementia Friendly Chorleywood" on Saturday.
The event starts at 2pm and is due to finish an hour later.
The Dementia Friendly Chorleywood initiative aims to make the area a safe and enjoyable village for residents, families and friends living with dementia.
Sunrise Senior Living in High View, is one of four organisations in the area supporting the initiative which is helping to make Chorleywood more dementia friendly.
Other organisations involved in supporting the event are: Chorleywood Parish Council, Chorleywood Residents Association and Hertfordshire County Council.
