Emergency services attended a road traffic collision in Watford last night which saw a man be cut out from his vehicle.
Police were called at 8.30pm to Horseshoe Lane to reports of a collision which Sarah Spence-Miller, spokesman for Hertfordshire Constabulary, said involved a silver Honda Civic and a green Honda Jazz.
Fire crews from Watford and Garston were also called to the incident at 9.04pm.
The Honda Civic overturned and landed back on its wheels causing the male driver, who is in his 30s, to be trapped.
Cutting equipment was used to release him and he was then taken to Watford General Hospital by East of England Ambulance Service.
The man suffered neck and back pain and was taken for further treatment.
