A new art exhibition has been unveiled in Rickmansworth.
The Big Draw exhibition was unveiled in Watersmeet, High Street, on Thursday, October 1.
Seven artists will join children, families and teachers from St Peter’s V A Church of England Primary School in Mill End at an official launch celebration tomorrow.
The exhibition features a colourful display of illustrations, prints, papercuts and work inspired by storytelling.
A collection of decorated tiles designed and painted by year 6 pupils from the school will be unveiled at the event.
Elaine Johnson, Community Arts Development Officer said “This is a wonderful opportunity for artists big and small to come together in one space and celebrate their passion for drawing.
We’ve had a very positive response to both the exhibition and the involvement from a local primary school before we’ve even launched, which is fantastic. Come along everyone and support your local artists.”
The exhibition will be open 10am to 4pm on Monday to Friday and 10am to 2pm on Saturday. Entry is free.
