A woman was rushed to hospital after a thief snatched her handbag outside her home in Croxley Green.
A thief snatched a 68-year-old woman’s handbag outside her home in Grove Crescent on Thursday night.
According to the neighbourhood watch Owl messaging system, the victim was a 68-year-old woman and a man approached the woman before grabbing her bag.
A struggle then broke out between the victim and the thief.
The woman injured her shoulder after falling during the struggle, according to police spokesman Hannah Georgiou.
The thief then ran off with the woman’s handbag.
Spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service, Jake Asby, said: “We sent an ambulance crew to the scene and we treated an elderly female for injuries to her arm and shoulder area.
“She was then taken to Watford General Hospital for further treatment.”
