Friday, November 13

Daniel James Taylor, 30, of Langley Road, Abbots Langley. On November 12, 2015, used a vehicle after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion in breath was 65 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. Disqualified from driving for 18 months. Fine, costs: £653.

Ashley Nathan Hall, 36, of Newhouse Crescent, Watford. On September 3, 2015, knowing that payment on the spot was required for petrol dishonestly made off without having paid. On September 8, 2015, assaulted a person. Fine, compensation, costs: £375.

Monday, November 16

Steven Anthony Mark Hersey, 23, of Stanley Road, Watford. On July 22, 2015, together with a woman stole DVDs to the value of £39.98 belonging to HMV. On July 23, 2015, together with a woman stole DVDs to the value of £87.96. Committed to prison for four weeks forthwith. Overall length of sentence 90 days and 12 weeks.

Ronak Patel, 35, of Fuller Way, Croxley Green, Rickmansworth. On August 22, 2015, had in his possession one bag of cannabis. On same date, assaulted a police constable in the execution of his duty; used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a person to believe that immediate unlawful violence would be used against them and the offence was racially aggravated. Commission of a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order. Community order made. Have treatment for alcohol dependency for three months. Participate in Resolve for 25 days. Fine, compensation, costs: £505.

Heleina Aston, 29, of Bell Lane, Bedmond. On July 7, 2015, she was the owner of a dog which was dangerously out of control and whilst so out of control injured a person. Unless the dog is kept under proper control it must be destroyed. Fine, compensation, costs: £2,357.

Tuesday, November 17

Horace Gayle, 50, of Boyce Court, Lockhart Road, Watford. Between July 26, 2013, and November 6, 2013, dishonestly failed to notify the Department for Work and Pensions of a change of circumstances which he knew would affect his entitlement to Job Seekers Allowance, namely he was working. Fine, costs: £185.

Gabriel Balaz, 35, of The Glebe, Watford. On September 17, 2015, used a vehicle after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion in breath was 162 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Disqualified from driving for 15 months. On same date, used a vehicle dangerously on a road. Committed to prison for eight weeks suspended for 12 months. Carry out unpaid work for 150 hours within the next 12 months. On same date, being the driver of a vehicle owing to the presence of which on a road an accident occurred whereby damage was caused to another vehicle. Fine, costs: £1,055.

Jason Edward John Maye, 35, of Whippendell Road, Watford. On October 30, 2015, used threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress. Fine, costs: £295.

Paul Lee Emsden, 24, of Warren Court, Abbots Langley. On July 31, 2015, assaulted a man by beating him. Compensation, costs: £485.

Raymond George Brown, 49, of Briar Road, Watford. On September 30, 2015, without lawful excuse destroyed a car tyre to the value of £90 intending to destroy or damage such property. Fine, compensation, costs: £726.

Patrizia Abruzzese, 45, of Forest Road, Watford. On April 9, 2015, stole a purse containing cash to the value of £100. Fine, compensation, costs: £563.

Mirzet Arslanovic, 31, of Robin Place, Boundary Way, Watford. On September 24, 2015, without lawful excuse damaged a phone handset belonging to Hertfordshire Constabulary. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Costs: £250.

Dean Jones, 44, of Lambert Court, Bushey Grove Road, Bushey. On May 7, 2015, failed to give information relating to the identification of a driver who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. Fine, costs: £961. Six penalty points.

Bobby Lee O’Brien, 24, of Hill Farm Avenue, Watford. On February 28, 2015, used a vehicle at a speed exceeding the legal limit of 40mph. Fine, costs: £327. Three penalty points.
