Mateusz Martin Pawlak, 23, of Keyser Place, Bushey. On April 13, 2015, dishonestly received a stolen Vespa scooter knowing or believing the same to be stolen goods. On same date, used a vehicle without insurance. Fine, costs: £535. Eight penalty points.

Kunwar Yuvrajsinhji Chohan, 31, of First Avenue, Watford. On May 11, 2015, used a vehicle at a speed exceeding the legal limit of 40mph. Fine, costs: £1,115. Six penalty points.

Thursday, November 26

Anthony Steven Michael Byrne, 32, of Northway, Rickmansworth. Between June 29, 2015, and July 1, 2015, caused a woman to fear that violence would be used against her by his course of conduct. Committed to prison for six weeks forthwith. Restraining order made. On November 12, 2015, failed without reasonable cause to surrender to custody at St Albans Magistrates’ Court. Committed to prison for two weeks forthwith concurrent. Commission of a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order. Overall length of sentence 24 weeks. Costs: £1,700.

Buster Edward Cook-Kenny, 21, of Charter Place, Watford. On November 7, 2015, damaged the glass panel of a front door and a plant pot intending to destroy or damage such property. On same date, used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a person to believe that immediate unlawful violence would be used against them. Community order made. Participate in Domestic Violence Programme for 14 days. Carry out unpaid work for 80 hours within the next 12 months. Compensation, costs: £460.

Ugur Karaoglan, 31, of Westfield Avenue, Watford. On August 5, 2015, assaulted a woman by beating her. Committed to prison for 16 weeks suspended for 18 months. Participate in Building Better Relationships for 30 days. Carry out unpaid work for 80 hours within the next 12 months. Compensation, costs: £1,370.

Lydia Ellen Cox, 27, of Links Way, Croxley Green, Rickmansworth. On November 22, 2015, used a vehicle after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion in breath was 51 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Disqualified from driving for 15 months. Fine, costs: £565.

Darren James Guthrie, 28, of Exchange Road, Watford. On September 16, 2015, stole bedding and a duvet set to the value of £123 belonging to Asda. Committed to prison for three weeks forthwith. No costs.

Suganthan Kathirgamanathan, 24, of Leggatts Wood Avenue, Watford. On November 23, 2015, used a vehicle after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion in breath was 58 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. Disqualified from driving for 16 months. On same date, used a vehicle without a licence; used a vehicle without insurance. Fine, costs: £495.
