The following cases were heard before magistrates between November 30 and December 7.

Monday, November 30

Peter Lee Kenny, 27, of Spur Close, Abbots Langley. On September 4, 2015, assaulted a woman by beating her. On same date, damaged a laptop intending to destroy or damage such property. On October 1, 2015, failed without reasonable cause to surrender to custody at West and Central Hertfordshire Magistrates’ Court. Committed to prison for 60 days suspended for 12 months. Compensation: £200.

Peter Lee Kenny, 27, of Spur Close, Abbots Langley. On October 2, 2015, stole two electrical razors to the value of £399.98 belonging to Boots. Committed to prison for 60 days suspended for 12 months. Overall length of sentence 60 days. Conviction of an offence while a community order made by Central Hertfordshire Magistrates’ Court. Compensation, costs: £549.98.

Manuel Joakuim Martins Oliveira, 46, of Catalonia Apartments, Watford. On May 3, 2015, assaulted a man by beating him and the offence was racially aggravated. Committed to prison for 12 weeks. Commission of a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order. Compensation, costs: £1,100.

Lucy Brenda Elliott, 39, of Longcroft Road, Maple Cross, Rickmansworth. On May 16, 2015, used a vehicle after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion in breath was 61 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. Disqualified from driving for 12 months. Fine, costs: £670.

Shane Patrick Morris, 28, of Scottswood Road, Bushey. On July 4, 2015, assaulted a man by beating him. On same date, assaulted a second man by beating him. Fine, compensation, costs: £920.

Jack Michael Albert Pattison, 24, of Hamilton Road, Hunton Bridge, Kings Langley. On March 15, 2015, used a vehicle when he was in such a position that he could not have proper control of the vehicle. Fine, costs: £252. Three penalty points.

Tuesday, December 1

Andrej Bartolucci, 19, of Batchworth Heath, Rickmansworth. On October 15, 2015, had in his possession a quantity of cannabis. Community order made. Commission of a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order. Suspended sentence of six weeks imprisonment suspended for 12 months amended by extending the operational period to 21 months. Costs: £325.

Mark James Richards, 26, of Duncan Way, Bushey. On November 11, 2015, had in his possession a small bag and wrap of cocaine. Fine, costs: £595.

Zayn Ul-Abidin Shah, 20, of Riverside Road, Watford. On October 11, 2015, had in his possession two bags of cannabis. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. On same date, used a vehicle without insurance; used a vehicle without a licence. Fine, costs: £355.

Gary Hubert Williams, 49, of Parrotts Close, Croxley Green, Watford. On October 13, 2015, used a vehicle whilst disqualified from driving. Community order made. Carry out unpaid work for 180 hours within the next 12 months. Disqualified from driving for 23 months. On same date, used a vehicle without insurance. Costs: £210.

Wayne Tobias Craig, 29, of Hemming Way, Watford. On July 23, 2015, obstructed a court enforcement officer in the execution of a distress warrant by removing items of property from an address in contravention of instructions given by said officer. Fine, costs: £490.

Amelia Lara Dixon-Barnett, 20, of Plantation Close, Bushey. On June 6, 2015, used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a person to believe that immediate unlawful violence would be used against them. Fine, costs: £915.

Asadullah Muzaffar, 20, of Leavesden Road, Watford. On April 11, 2015, being the driver of a vehicle failed to comply with the indication given by a red light traffic signal. Fine, costs: £40. Three penalty points.

Robert John Powell, 37, of Hill Farm Avenue, Watford. On June 26, 2015, failed to give information relating to the identification of a driver who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. Fine, costs: £961. Six penalty points.

James Jose Salfarlie, 29, of Ross Crescent, Watford. On April 11, 2015, used a vehicle without insurance. Fine, costs: £811. Eight penalty points.

Jeevan Sanjeet Sidhu, 34, of Langley Hill, Kings Langley. On April 8, 2015, used a vehicle at a speed exceeding the legal limit of 60mph. Fine, costs: £100. Three penalty points.

Asadullah Muzaffar, 20, of Leavesden Road, Watford. On March 27, 2015, used a vehicle without insurance. Disqualified from driving for 12 months. Fine, costs: £375.

Donna Georgina Poloczek, 37, of Wharf Way, Hunton Bridge, Kings Langley. On March 11, 2015, used a vehicle at a speed exceeding the legal limit of 30mph. Fine, costs: £327. Three penalty points.

Wednesday, December 2

Mohammed Sajawal, 20, of Dell Road, Watford. On February 19, 2015, used a vehicle without due care and attention. On same date, being the driver of a vehicle, owing to the presence of which on a road an accident occurred whereby damage was caused to another vehicle and he failed to stop; failed to report the accident at a police station as soon as was reasonably practicable. Fine, costs: £500. Seven penalty points.

Thursday, December 3

Jamie Heilling, 31, of Printers Avenue, Watford. Between October 23, 2015, and November 8, 2015, pursued a course of conduct which amounted to the harassment of a woman in that he sent numerous messages. Committed to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 18 months. Be under curfew for six weeks. Restraining order made. Costs: £315.

William Alexander Allum, 22, of Exchange Road, Watford. Between September 14, 2015, and September 17, 2015, sent multiple text messages which he was prohibited from doing by a non-molestation order. Restraining order made. Commission of a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order. Fine, costs: £660.

Deborah Wright, 49, of Tunnel Wood Road, Watford. On March 11, 2015, used a vehicle at a speed exceeding the legal limit of 30mph. Fine, costs: £327. Three penalty points.

Friday, December 4

Szymon Marcin Prus, 19, of Garston Lane, Watford. On September 15, 2015, used towards railway staff threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause them to believe that immediate unlawful violence would be used against them. Community order made. Carry out unpaid work for 100 hours within the next 12 months. On same date, travelled on a railway without having previously paid the fare. On November 23, 2015, failed without reasonable cause to surrender to custody at St Albans Magistrates’ Court. Compensation, costs: £448.

Richard John McBride, 35, of New Road, Croxley Green, Rickmansworth. On November 17, 2015, used a vehicle without insurance. On same date, used a vehicle without a licence; used a vehicle after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion in breath was 46 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. Disqualified from driving for 14 months. Fine, costs: £655.

Gilson Nunes Mendes, 35, of Whippendell Road, Watford. On November 15, 2015, used a vehicle after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion in breath was 44 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. Niall Daly, 22, of Prestwick Road, Watford. On July 26, 2015, failed to hand over his ticket for inspection when asked to do so by an authorised person. Fine, compensation, costs: £530.40.
