A care home held an afternoon of tea with a vintage style for their clients and carers.
Staff and clients from Home Instead Senior Care Home, in Watford, visited the Royal British Legion, in Bushey, for a special vintage afternoon tea.
Many of the carers were dressed in 1950s clothing and music from the era was playing whilst they all enjoyed their afternoon tea.
Jody Bryant, assistant manager at the care home, and Hazel Bulling both organised the afternoon tea.
Mrs Bryant said: “It was a lot of fun. We did it really for the carers and the clients and everyone loved it.
“It was the first time we have done something like this but because everyone loved it so much we will probably do it again next year.
“Most of our clients lived through the 1950s and they all really enjoyed it and we have got some thank you cards from some as well.
“Everyone had a good time.”
