Owners of a Radlett business will be thrust into the limelight on Thursday evening, as they feature on television show Embarrassing Bodies.
Michael and Martine Abrahams, who run The London Nail Laser Clinic, in Station Road, offered treatment to Charlotte Jones, who is suffering with an "out of control" toe infection.
The 25-year-old Liverpudlian had stumped her toe badly while holidaying in America, and after being turned away twice by GPs, decided to appear on the channel four television show.
Show doctor Dawn Harper decided Ms Jone’s toe infection had "gone too far" without treatment and recommended she visited the Radlett clinic.
Mr Abrahams said: ""Although many GPs do very good work and are to be respected for they do, they are not necessarily experts in foot care and may not have rapid access to podiatry.
"After hearing Charlotte's story, we were surprised Charlotte hadn't been referred sooner to a podiatrist after returning to the GP at Christmas with her nail complaint.
"We were really eager to meet Charlotte and confident we could solve her problem."
