On this date in Watford FC history

Having only recently taken him off the transfer list, Watford manager Steve Harrison sold 30-year-old Luther Blissett to AFC Bournemouth for a £60,000 fee.
Blissett was to enjoy a prolific three years in Dorset, scoring 56 goals in 121 appearances before returning for a third and final spell as a player at Vicarage Road under Steve Perryman.
