Carpender's Park's Scott Hunt landed his second Too Much Talent mixed martial arts title belt at Thorpe Park on Saturday night.

The 27-year-old took on Brad Watchcorn for the vacant lightweight belt and clinched victory in the first round with a rear naked choke.

It was a welcome result for Hunt after being knocked out in his last fight in 2013 against Frenchman Tom Duquesnoy.

Hunt said: “I was over the moon because I needed it after my last loss. It was hard having a defeat like that but the positive thing was it brought home to me how hard I needed to work and has made me do a lot more stand up sparring.”

This is his second belt as he also holds the featherweight title as well. Hunt trains in Watford for Team Crossface whose head coach is UFC veteran David Lee.
