Evergreen Ladies Under-14s win Herts County Cup
Evergreen Ladies Under-14s won the Herts County Cup after beating Harvesters 2-0 on Sunday.
The first half was evenly-matched, with both sides having just a few chances on goal, whilst Lacey Kavanagh-Blake had to be at her best in goal for Evergreen.
But it was Evergreen who got the second half off to a great start, Elle Bird scoring the opener after just five minutes.
The victory was confirmed with ten minutes left when Bird grabbed her second. Receiving possession on the edge of the penalty area, she cut inside and fired home from 20 yards.
