Fullerians remain top of London North West Three after scoring 13 tries in their 85-5 thrashing of Old Streetonians on Saturday.

The visitors were in ruthless form as they destroyed the bottom side in a one-sided match. It was the ideal response after their home defeat to Stevenage Town the previous week.

It did not take long for Fullers to take the lead as number eight Simon Lye went over for the first of his four tries. Craig Duncan added the conversion.

Fullerians powered over following a scrum with Lye getting his second try of the game and the forward completed his hat-trick after just 20 minutes.

Wing Ben Meyers was next to cross the line when he outpaced the covering defence after some great movement by the Fullers back line. This gave them a commanding 26-0 lead at half time.

After the restart centre Dan Evans picked a great line to score his first of a second-half hat-trick.

Scrum-half Duncan also got on the scoresheet when he was put over in the corner by Lye. Duncan notched his second try of the match following some excellent support play by the forwards.

The hosts got a consolation score but Fullers responded with a strong end to the match.

Wing Tom Williams and flankers Leandre Le Roux and Connor Head all crossed the line before Lye added his fourth to round another dominant win for the league leaders.

Head coach Rich Hoskins said: “We were disappointed last week with our performance and this has put some wrongs right. We are still four points clear at the top with four tough games to go.”
