Howe crowned Little Hay junior champion
Will Howe has been crowned Little Hay’s junior champion on a countback.
On the first day, reigning champion Luke Wrathall led with a round of 77, ahead of Robbie McIvor on 79, George Rocca on 81 and Howe on 82.
Day two saw Hamish Jarvie go out in front with 78, with Howe on 79 and McIvor on 82.
The combined scores for the two days saw Howe and McIvor tied on 161 and Wrathall on 162.
Howe was eventually declared the 2015 Champion on a countback.
In a simultaneous nett competition, Howe’s score of 131 was unbeaten, but McIvor, on 135, won the Junior Cup.
