West Herts suffered a 2-1 defeat at Bromley & Beckenham in the National Hockey League East Conference.

The visitors fell behind against the run of play and Bromley extended their lead in the second half. West Herts replied through Simon Walker's first goal of the season but it was not enough to salvage a draw.

The seconds lost 1-0 at Old Southendian in East Division One.

The thirds were beaten 2-0 at home to Bedford seconds in East Division Two South.

West Herts fourths thrashed Luton Town seconds 9-0 in East Division 4SW.

Nils Mundy and Todd Harris both scored hat-tricks in the win.

The fifths romped to an 11-1 victory over Luton Town thirds in East Division 7SW.

Michael Jones scored a double hat-trick while Ralph Darvill, Tim Jackson, Andy Archer, Arnav Rawat and Gary Garside netted.

In the East Ladies Premier, West Herts thrashed Old Loughtonians 5-0.

After good early pressure Jen Black opened the scoring, getting her first by deflecting Becky Perry’s pass into the goal.

Herts had to wait until the end of the first half to double their lead with a well-taken penalty corner by Perry.

In the second half, the hosts added more goals with Perry netting her second and Black on target before a late effort from Anna Coppel.

The ladies seconds drew 0-0 at Harpenden in East Division Two C.
