Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins says the club will make a decision over Francesco Guidolin's future in the summer with the Italian reportedly lined up as Watford's next boss.

Guidolin was brought in by the Premier League club as head coach in January until the end of the season.

With Quique Sanchez Flores expected to leave Vicarage Road this summer, reports have claimed Guidolin could be reunited with the Pozzos at Watford after previously working for them at Udinese.

Jenkins has said no decision on whether to offer Guidolin a new contract will be made until after the final game of the season.

He told Wales Online: "We are delighted how things have gone, we can't deny that. We're looking forward to getting to the end of the season when we will review everything and discuss options then.

"I'm sure he wants to stay. He's settled in and obviously has had a taste of the Premier League, which is a big thing for him."

Jenkins added: "But it's a big decision for us going forward and we need to take our time and go through those options at the end of the season.

"It was always the case that we would review it. I think he was aware of that at the time."
