Quique Sanchez Flores has warned Watford will face a completely different Liverpool team on Sunday to the side well beaten at Vicarage Road in December.

The Hornets claimed one of their best wins of the season at the end of last year after easing to a 3-0 victory over Jurgen Klopp's side.

But Liverpool have improved significantly and reached the Europa League final after last night's win over Villarreal.

Watford head coach Flores said: “They are a completely different team. They play really quick now and have a lot of security in the passes and successful in terms of possession.

"Their idea is very clear and they didn’t change a lot because basically the idea of the coach is the same. But in terms of the confidence they are a different team and we need to take care because they are completely dangerous."

Flores added: “Liverpool now recovered the morale and the football with the players. Jurgen Klopp has adapted to the team and it’s completely different.

"They are going to play a final so the condition of the team is really high. In this moment we need to respect them."

Watford Observer:

After Watford's win over Liverpool, Flores spoke to Klopp and the German admitted he was worried about their initial form under him.

“I remember my conversation with Jurgen Klopp after the match at Vicarage Road," Flores said.

"He was a little bit worried with the team about the results. It was not exactly how he was expecting in the first matches. He needed to know the league, the players and the squads and had only been in the Premier League for a short time. I remember the conversation and said 'don’t worry you are a good manager and for sure the team are going to improve'.

“Of course it’s normal [being worried] because the responsibility of Klopp with Liverpool and the expectation of the fans is very high. But now Liverpool are a completely different team."
