Moor Park golfer Callum Shinkwin finished in a tie for 19th at the Irish Open yesterday.
Shinkwin made a superb start to the tournament at the K Club with an opening four-under-par round of 68.
The Bushey-based golfer followed this up with rounds of 73 and 74 heading into the final day.
Shinkwin shot a closing one-under-par 71 after mixing five birdies with four bogeys.
The tournament was won by home favourite Rory McIlroy on 12-under-par which was ten shots clear of Shinkwin.
The result leaves the 23-year-old in 98th place in the Race to Dubai rankings.
