Watford defender Sebastian Prodl played the first half of Austria's 2-1 defeat to Iceland as they were eliminated from Euro 2016.
Prodl kept his place in the side and Austria found themselves 1-0 down through Jon Dadi Bodvarsson's effort.
Iceland conceded a penalty but Aleksandar Dragovic fired his spot-kick off the post and wide.
Hornets centre-back Prodl was brought off at the break with Alessandro Schopf replacing him.
Austria grabbed an equaliser in the second half through substitute Schopf and were pushing for a winner.
But Iceland stunned them in injury time after Arnor Ingvi Traustason netted to secure a win which will see them face England in the last 16.
Prodl's Austria finished bottom of Group F with one point after a disappointing tournament.
