Walter Mazzarri says Nordin Amrabat has improved the most in the Watford squad and insists he will always be part of his plans despite the arrival of Daryl Janmaat.
The Newcastle United defender's arrival cast doubt over the position of Amrabat after the Moroccan held down the right wing-back position in the first two games.
But head coach Mazzarri has been extremely impressed with the strides Amrabat has made and insists he remains an important part of the squad.
Mazzarri said: “In the time I’ve been here he’s [Amrabat] one of the players that gave me the biggest satisfaction.
"He’s the one that struggled the most to start with and the one that improved the most. I will always consider him for the team."
