A Premier League official is due to be in charge when Watford travel to promotion-chasing Ipswich Town on Wednesday bidding to continue their unbeaten run under Tom Cleverley.
It has been announced on the EFL website that Sam Barrott has been appointed as the referee for the 7.45pm kick-off at Portman Road.
The West Yorkshire official has been one of the busier referees this season, taking charge of a total of 36 games in the top flight, Championship and cup competitions in which he has issued a total of 112 yellow cards and three reds.
Mark Dwyer and Robert Hyde are due to be the assistant referees, with Dean Whitestone on fourth official duties.
Watford will be aiming to make it five games unbeaten under interim head coach Cleverley after Saturday's goalless stalemate with Preston secured a third successive draw for the Hornets.
The Tractor Boys are currently second in the three-horse race for automatic promotion, a point behind leaders Leicester and a point ahead of Leeds, having suffered a first defeat in four games on Saturday when they were beaten 1-0 by Norwich City in the East Anglian derby.
