Interim head coach Tom Cleverley has pretty much full availability ahead of tomorrow’s home game with Hull City.

With injured players now returning to the squad, and others able to play with knocks that are nursed through training, the Watford boss has that rare but satisfying dilemma of selection problems.

His options are enhanced by the return to action of both Ken Sema and Jeremy Ngakia, who have not played since March 6 and March 2 respectively.

“I’ve been very, very pleased with the way Ken and Jez have returned,” said Cleverley.

“Both looked really fit and dynamic, and they add something different to the group.

“They are two different personalities to add into the group, and I fully expect them to be in the matchday squad tomorrow.”

Tom Dele-Bashiru had to come off at half-time of last weekend’s defeat at Southampton with a slight Achilles issue.

“Tom, a bit like Dennis, will have to be managed through these last three games,” Cleverley explained.

“We plan on not losing him for any games but we’ll have the manage his training loads.”

Ryan Andrews started on the bench last weekend due to an injury issue, but he too is back in contention for a place in the XI.

“Last weekend Ryan was a doubt and that meant he couldn’t start, which led to a change of shape but that’s something we’re flexible with,” said Cleverley.

“But Ryan is back to full health and he’s available to start tomorrow.”

After a run of five games in 16 days, the players were able to have some time off this week and get a clear run of days to train.

“The players had two days off after the Southampton game which was pre-planned, it let us digest what happened in that game and get over it,” said Cleverley.

“Tuesday was the start of a new week, and the players have been bright and fresh.

“It’s the first time since Leeds we’ve had a really good period of time to prepare for an opposition, and I think we’ve done a good job with that.

“We knew it’s a big game for us because we need to get that home win, and we meet yet another team who have motivation of their own.

“It should be a good game between two good teams, and we’re planning and preparing for us to come out on top.”
